here we are going to taught you to setup up push mail Gmail and some other email cllients.

we did a deep study on the phone and found there are two ways to complete above task.

1. simple and long method.

2. very simple and very short method.

you will find the first method on many other blog and sites which is given such as....

FIRST METHOD :

1.Set GMail to allow IMAP ..for doing this :-

First go to Gmail, login with your id .Now, click settings tab on the topmost right corner. Go to forwarding pop/imap and in imap access click enable imap and also enable pop any of two of yours choice. and click on save changes

2.Now,in your Samsung S3310 device.Click Messages>Settings>Email>Email Accounts>

Use the following data.

Name: Gmail

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Port: 465

Secure Connection: SSL

Incoming Server Type: IMAP4

IMAP4 Server: imap.gmail.com

IMAP Port: 993

APOP login: greyed out

Secure Connection: SSL

Download Limit: 300

IMAP4 incoming email: New

Retrieving option: Normal

Keep on server: checked

My address: me@gmail.com

Username: me@gmail.com

Password: gmail id password

Use Pop before smtp: greyed out

Use SMTP authorization: checked

Same as POP3/IMAP4: checked

Username: greyed out

Password: greyed out

Successful...... Go to email inbox in GT S3310 and click options by pressing left soft key and select download.. hurreyy..

So here it is the shortcut and simplest way of setting push mail.

SECOND METHOD :

follow the following procedure after enabling the imap and pop of your email ids as described above

In your Handset....

press *#6984125*#

select internals (shortcut press 4)

it will ask for the master KEY

press *#9072641*# and press confirm.

select storage settings (shortcut press 6)

select create emails (shortcut press 7)

it will show successfully installed.

now exit the whole menu and then go to message and then settings

 then select email and then select Email Accounts.

You will see Yahoo at 1st and gmail at 4th.

we can use these two accounts.

first deselect the check box before the last account (IT 6G lab3 Email)

and press back and press yes to save.

then it will put you back to email settings now go to Email Setup Wizard (Shortcut press 5)

And then press yes to continue to setup your accounts

now click on next when its navigating to yahoo mail and put your ID info i.e. your complete email ID and password

and press options>next>ok

and setup gmail in the same way.

• SOS service so that you can contact your priorly saved numbers very easily by pressing either volume button on side pannel while phone is locked. which will send sms to your selected numbers.
• Mobile tracker used to be irony. it sends a msg automatically to your priorly saved numbers if from the new sim , in case if anybody replaced the sim of your phone. so will beaware of the number of the stealer.
• installed with theme creater. it means you can create themes (GUI) yourself.
• Sound Quality of the phone speaker and earphone are marvelous.
• Various bluetooth functions are supported in this phone. For example you can browse other bluetooth activated phone's files and can make changes via bluetooth if access is granted.
• Can manage your e-mail accounts. you can read, send, delete your e-mails easily. this phone supports maximum 5 email accounts at a time.
• It is a JAVA Supported phone (midp 2.0)
• FAKE CALL function.   Thats something strange and new. In this phone a function of fake call is provided even you can record voice to be played during that fake call. helping you escape potentially dangerous or uncomfortable situations.
• memory expandable upto 8 GB.

DEFECTS :

• Inbox have a capacity of only 200 SMS.
• Cutting, Copying of text options are not really effective.
• Themes can be created in phone only. No external themes are supported.
• Your selected ringtones and wallpaper, caller images will be copied first to the phone memory and then will be applied on the phone. If you delete them from the Phone memory all above will be reseted to the the default. thats a big problem because phone memory is limited.
• whatever you will transfer from Bluetooth to Samsung GT S3310 will be transfered to the phone memory only. and then you can move the data to memory card but you can not set the memory card as your initial transfer location for Bluetooth
• its true that it supports JAVA but there are some problem in JAVA platform. whenever you need to type in a JAVA application, it will open a edit text pad where no clear option is provided. you can cancel the whole text but you cannot clear a single character.
• Internet Browser provided is not so effective.
